A personal love letter to the heart of my hometown, DTLA is a film and photography series that explores the historic streets, diverse faces, and architectural grandeur of Downtown Los Angeles. Raised in L.A. but drawn rarely to downtown, I set out to rediscover this storied neighborhood. From weathered canopies and grand facades to unexpected moments of street life, each image reveals the layered character of a city that is spirited and graceful. Through these photos, I fell deeper in love with a place that continuously surprises, challenges, and inspires.
